Description
The SoundCloud Android and iPhone apps deliver a fast and easy way to record and share sounds, interviews or voice memos. Ideal for music pros on the road, photographers adding sound to an image, and casual users alike, the apps provide a simple way to enjoy the mobile SoundCloud experience, and are both available for free. At the end of 2010, SoundCloud enabled its community of more than 2.8 million users to instantly record audio to their SoundCloud profile from an easy to use “record” button. Accessible via the website or SoundCloud apps for iPhone and Android – the new feature enables anyone to capture sound on the move and then, in the embeddable waveform player, share it anywhere – across their social networks, websites, SoundCloud community or simply between friends. To date the apps have been downloaded 300,000 times.
